The world, anymore, is in a state of disorder and is seemingly unmanageable, a tinderbox, at the mercy of any small incendiary event or episode. Living in this volatile environment would surely make any sane person want for a little peace and tranquility. For some, serenity is coming by way of a search for a better and deeper spiritual awareness.
Desire to be a spiritually well being is as strong as it's ever been. Since the beginning of time itself, man has sought to better himself, not just of body, but also of mind and soul. Most of mankind commonly shares a destination of Zen or of spiritual awareness, but paths chosen to get there, may differ greatly. Some journeys are as unique as the individual man.
But, as vastly different in character these pilgrimages may be, they do share some commonalities. Akin to these experiences is the exhibition of virtues. Virtues, seeds of moral excellence and goodness, left planted, soon flourish, yielding flowers of esthetic beauty and fragrant aromas hinting of existence of Eden.
While virtues are many, and all worthy of possession, the one of honesty and truthfulness should be more highly sought after. Truth defined, is the quality of being in accordance with experience, facts or reality; conformity with fact. Far more than any verbal declaration, truth must be evident in every action you take an in every tenet and code you live by.
Both spiritual awareness and fulfillment are out there, and can be found. One must recognize, however, that spiritual fulfillment and truthfulness are intrinsically tied, although mutually exclusive traits, you cannot have spiritual clarity and yet be unclear about the truth.Be your own Blog!!
